Hi friend! I’m Scenia (pronounced seen-yuh), the face behind RagBag Works. I’m a multi-disciplinary artist and RagBag Works is a collection of some of those disciplines including pottery with a focus on kitchenware, soap making, dyeing textiles and crocheting. 

In 2021, my mom and I decided to take a pottery class in order to get out of the house and do something new with our hands. Very quickly, like 2 months in, I began taking this hobby more seriously and we bought a kiln. We continued to take classes at various studios and gained so much knowledge along the way. That hobby then morphed into RagBag Works. 

The older I get, the more self conscious I’ve become on our single use society and I want no part in it. Pottery is plastic free, my soaps are nontoxic and vegan (with exception to my bee pollen and honey soap), my 100% silk scarves are naturally dyed, and crocheted market/produce bags helps eliminate plastic grocery bags.

As this brand continues, I’m sure I’ll be adding more disciplines and new products along the way.
